Arris Design has a proven methodology that enables us to develop
functional and aesthetically pleasing design solutions. We have
a proven track record of completing projects on time and on budget.
Below is a summary of the methodology we can apply to your project.
Size does matter. Have us involved in the process right from the
leasing stage. Our needs assessments and fit-plans can assure
that you have selected the location that is correctly sized for
your requirements.
Good design starts with good information. We encourage strong dialogue
with our clients at the outset of the project to ensure that
the design objectives, spatial requirements and budgetary considerations
are taken into account throughout the space planning and design
phase.
Putting it together. With the information we acquire, we prepare
preliminary space plan options to show your how your functional
requirements can be best adapted to your new or renovated space.
Bringing your vision to reality. Once we’ve established your
goals, we develop and refine the concept so that we can present
you with the tangible elements that make your project unique. And
no surprises! We can also prepare a preliminary budget to ensure
that the design vision is in line with your budget expectations.
Want to leave the old image behind? We can help you to select the
right furniture to match your enhanced corporate image.
Let’s get technical. Every design needs precise documentation
consisting of working drawings and specifications. These ensure
that all construction and installation requirements conform to
the life, health, safety and building codes, while maintaining
design integrity.
Building relationships. We can develop a tender package to submit
to local, qualified contractors who have the skill and experience
to implement your project. Or we can work with our preferred
contractors to create a simplified design/build approach to your
project.
Getting to the finish line — and beyond. We work with the
contractor throughout the building phase to ensure conformance
to the contract documentation and specifications. No project is
finished until you, the designer and contractor determine that
all outstanding items have been completed.
